he/she is just under a year old i beleive. and yes the tank is a bit excessive but she loves it!

how big do they grow?
i was always under the impression that they get rather large, depending on the speicies you get .....

shes a yellow belly slider so she will get about the same size as my other turtle which is about 11-12 inches
