well the following pictures were taken with my new Nikon D40x with 18-55 lens. i was having a good time shooting, and the pics look nice too :P

might just int out that im not sure whether all the flowers are native to the uk, so my title, mixture of british wildlife may be incorrect :unsure:

and this is an unravelling tree fern, which is from new zealand! awesome looking thing, grows reallyreally slowly, ours is like 50 years old i believe and is only about 1 foot tall.
