WOW! (For Charity!)

Need something? Have extra?

Postby Indigo Blue Fish » 2005-12-01 14:41

I have just found this AMAZING piece of Muscovite in my delivery - it's 8 cm long, and I don't think it's even 5mm thick!
(Not for fishtanks however...)
If anyone takes a *shine* to it - let's get this auction rolling!
All proceeds on this piece will go to a charity - I imagine either whichever one Quirlys chooses next year (we sent off ?586 to the Hospital Heart Unit this year) or any we debate upon here.

Even 50p is a charitable donation!
(P&p free.)

(Muscovite - Potassium aluminum silicate hydroxide fluoride.
A shiny green transparent layered mineral from India. Forms "Plates" of the aluminium silicate, bonded with potassium ions, which make it quite flaky. Is often found with Garnets.
Said to help one recognise the flaws in humanity and allow you to accept it with unconditional love. Disperses insecurity and selfdoubt, whilst eliminating anger and stress. Look forward to the future with a sparkle in your eyes!)

Sure thing - I'll do that when I'm at work on Monday. I think it's pretty much similar.
I'll also do a sideways shot, so you can see the thickness, ok?

Wow!
