New here? Got anything to chat or rant about? Here's the place!

I'm told it was doe either in the womb, or very shortly after birth. She was the runt you see, so could have got stomped when she was very tiny.

Have done the pinch test, and she seems to have feeling in it, so I dont think we will have to get it docked.

Will have to see what the vet says when we take her in for her MOT....

*giggles at MOT*

Thought as much. Well, it's not like it affects her too much at the moment, is it?

The only thing is, that it makes it stick out at the side....

And things that you see moving out of the corner of your eye simply must be chased...chaos ensues! I have a little vid on my phone... I wonder if u tube will let me upload it...?

New pics of the Dinkster!

And she is fine, after a horrific walk in the park last night. Dink was just running by, when some old bag with an overweight bulldog lashed out and kicked her.

Hubby managaed to keep his temper better than I would of, I think said old bag would have felt the weight of my size 6's just as she had done to Dink...

like i said i got a dog about 6months old put out on newyears day as a pup. took him to my vet he told me the dog is part lab and part pitbull but said he was a happy dog. he loves every body and love kids. people do stange things and most dogs that get mean are because the human that takes care of make them mean

ps you got a pretty dog

I've got size 8 steel toecap leather workboots you can borrow. What the heck did she do that for?! (note: had to edit several times as a little shapr initially)

She's stupid. And probably jealous. Pets are like their owners and all.... Although I suppose it should be chewing a wasp to really look like her. *sniggers*

I agree Railinsp, an animal is what the owner makes them. There can be some exceptions, just like there are spycho people out there, but generally an animal is only mean if the people teach it to be mean.

And if you kick a dog for no reason, then you should expect to be bitten for no reason.... or kicked back by the abused dogs owner...

My friend lost a Champion Greman Wirehaired Pointer to some complete .....well, words fail me. Pax was running in a field when a similar thing happened, only the idiot put the boot in to his abdominal cavity. They lost Pax to internal injuries.

The crazy thing was, all they could charge the criminal with was damage to personal property, and they only got such good compensation because the dog was a champion stud, and his value was proven. I couldn't believe they couldnt do anything on behalf of the dog itself... very sad.

I agree with you Saracen, it's quite sad that they couldn't do anything about the fact that it was a dog that died, rather then destroyed property :(

Your big pup is very cute! Makes me want one lol

*laughs* I can just see that SD.

And yes, that's appalling - BUT the new animal cruelty/rights act has come into play - I would imagine there's something in there to cover it too.
