That first tank is unusual. I would like to know why the heater is at the top of the tank instead of the bottom as heat rises and it must waste alot of heat being that high up the tank and the water at the bottom must be quite cool. :)

The amount of water movement in a reef/marine tank (usually 15-30 times the tank volume per hour) will spread the heat more evenly due to the flow so I doubt it would be that much of a problem ^_^

I wondered why too Fish Shed. I have seen a few salt tanks with the heater up high....

Is that first one for Mbuna or for Marines? Nice effect with the lighting either way.

Plenty of good tanks there, can tell they are well cared for.
