Parsons awarded preliminary contract for Gordie Howe Bridge

The Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA) recently announced it has selected Parsons Inc. of Markham, Ont., for the role of Owner’s Engineer for the Gordie Howe International Bridge project.
Construction on the new multibillion-dollar bridge between Windsor, Ont. and Detroit will begin this year, said a Jori Lehtera Jersey March 6 statement. The $61-million contract awarded to Parsons is the first contract the WDBA has awarded for services related to the design-build phase of the project.

Under the contract, Parsons will support Alfred Morris Youth Jersey the owner, WDBA, through design review, providing technical advice Shaun Alexander Authentic Jersey and monitoring and overseeing the construction activities of the private-sector Jordy Nelson Womens Jersey partner through inspections, compliance reviews and audits, the statement indicated. Announcement of the preferred proponent is expected in June. The WDBA will then begin final contract negotiations with the announced winning bidder.
