MSN Messenger or whatever else you use...

New here? Got anything to chat or rant about? Here's the place!

Hristo, it's an instant message service. When both people are online at the same time, you can send short messages that are delivered immediately, so takes less time to have a conversation than e-mail.

If you Google MSN Messenger then it should be able to explain it better than I can!

although I have an MSN account, I personally can't stand the app. It loads up when I start windows..despite removing it's startup from the registry and the start up folder. It has no option to disable it's startup in the app itself..it is by definition very invasive.

I only use windows for gaming and the other half uses it aswell, my main OS is Linux, and on there I use either Gaim (available for windows aswell) and Kopete. Both those apps support multiple protocols, including ICQ, Jabber, IRC, Yahoo, MSN (and a few others that i can't recall) Much better alternative IMO.

Anywhoos. My addys are as follows

MSN - info AT odball-chat.com
Yahoo - kvnriding

Yay! Linux rocks! :D I use it as well and yes, I've got GAIM! :D

(Make that Gentoo, Gnome and Beryl rock as well! *goes rather hyper*)

(Sorry, just had a very high calorie breakfast and a mocha with about 10 sugars in it)

(Keeps going hyper)
