There must be some trick to getting rid of hair algae? It's one of the biggest banes of my life at the moment, I've got a planted tank I neglected for over a month (I know it's terrible, but sometimes other things in life are more important) - needless to say hair algae has taken it over. I've plucked off all the Amazon Sword leaves and new ones are starting to come through, but I can't really do that to the Crypts and Anubias can I? The Crypts and Anubias in the tank are amazing and have really come on well, but they are so slow growing I don't want to disturb them too much.
Am even considering using anti-hair algae treatments for the first time in my life (always avoided use of anti-algaes previously), anyone got any experience of those in planted tanks? Any recommendations?
